1% of a $1b token is worth more than 10% of a 10mn coin. Why? 

because there is no market for illiquid low market cap coins that don’t have attention from VCs, OTC desks, liquid funds and so on. the market for secondaries or “liquidation” opens up only after a certain scale. in tech, it could be series C+, in crypto, that’d likely be above $100M+ 

you need to dilute, distribute your holdings till you meaningfully make your holdings worth something.
